Scripps Institute for Biomedical Innovation and Technology has made advances on how to possibly defeat a deadly form of brain cancer. The scientists have discovered that two specific cancer cell mutations may work together in order to hide tumors from the immune system. This can help predict whether glioblastoma tumors respond to immunotherapy drugs. read more Loggerhead Marinelife Center has been nominated by USA Today for “Best Free Attraction” in the USA. Other contenders include famous sights such as Central Park, the Golden Gate Bridge, and even national parks. The Center in Juno Beach has been one of Florida’s most visited nonprofit scientific destinations with a focus on ocean and sea turtle conservation. Each year, the Center’s team and volunteers treat nearly 100 sea turtles and 1,000 hatchlings at its ocean-side facility.
